  1. Open your bank or credit union app.
  2. Choose Interac e-Transfer → Send money.
  3. Add the campaign email as the recipient.
  4. Enter your amount, up to $1,200.
  5. In the message, include your full name, mailing address, email and phone.
  6. Send. You should see the campaign name on Autodeposit before you confirm.

Cheque

Payable to the campaign.

Call (705) 491-1951 for mailing instructions.

Put the same name and return address on the cheque that you put on the form.

The rules

What Ontario municipal campaigns can accept.

  • $1,200 maximum from any one individual to this campaign.
  • $5,000 maximum in total to candidates for offices on the same council.
  • Contributors must be individuals normally resident in Ontario.
  • No corporation or union contributions may be accepted.
  • Do not pool other people’s money.
  • A joint account must name one contributor.
  • This is a campaign receipt, not a Canada Revenue Agency tax receipt.
  • If your total to this campaign is more than $100, your name and address appear on the public financial statement.
  • Only send to the published campaign email. We will never ask for your banking password.

We email a numbered campaign receipt after the contribution arrives. If the transfer does not match the form, we will use the mobile number you provided.
